Another Google page rank has taken place a few days ago and I got some good surprises on my websites. I don’t give much importance to page rank but it’s always good to see its increase to motivate me more and more. Most of my websites had their page rank increased and the reason for that is mainly the unique content of my websites. Most people base their website development in duplicated content and link exchanges and most of them end up failing. I’ve learned from my mistakes and I always try to get unique content in my websites and the last page rank update proved once again that I’m on the right path to success. I’ve been using Bidvertiser for almost 2 years now and I can’t say that I’m not happy with them but we always should be looking for new opportunities that can be more profitable than the ones we are already using. Well, Adbrite was my latest experience with this kind of advertising programs and it has been a surprise until now. Although the bids are not so high as on Bidvertiser, Adbrite seems to count more page views and clicks than Bidvertiser. The ads are also more appealing which leads to more clicks and more money of course. I’ve added Adbrite ads to only a few of my websites but I’ll test it on several others because as I’ve written before, we should only “judge” a advertising network after testing it on several different kind of websites because, for example, Bidvertiser bids can differ from awful to excellent depending of the website content.
So my advise is: every time you test a new program, try it on different websites as it can be awful for the first website you’ve tested it and excellent for another with completely different content.
Today I decided to try Adbrite. I had read many things about Adbrite and many different opinions but there is no better opinion that ours based in our own experience.
Adbrite has a wide range of options for our websites the they seem to be very professional. Their publishers area is very clear and easy to understand so now I just need to find out one more thing, probably the most important aspect… the money

I started receiving some visitors after writing a few articles in this blog. If you are a regular reader you have noticed that I always try to share my experiences that will hopefully help others avoiding some mistakes I made in the past. Unfortunately some webmasters think that the best way to spend their time is by spamming their websites everywhere. In my several blogs I always try some different approaches to stop the spammers and of course some are more effective than others. I have tried several addons but until today I haven’t found any that works perfectly, either because they don’t block all spammers or because they block comments from my visitors. So I tried something different… In one of my blogs I just placed a small note next to the comments box saying that all comments are manually approved and the spamming decreased around 80%. Of course this technique won’t those spammers that use software for their “work” but the ones that do it manually will think twice before they submit garbage as comments.
Don’t waste your time spamming. Use it to do something useful.
I have written before about Bidvertiser and I feel that I need to write again about them. Why ?
Well, when I started using Bidvertiser most people were using Google Adsense and they didn’t even consider a change to a company that was new in the business and probably would fail as most others that keep showing up. Some time ago I wrote an article about bidvertiser. At the time I was looking for a alternative for adsense and I came across bidvertiser while I was reading a blog from someone that I consider a successful online marketeer.
As far as I can recall, this guy was making a very good income with bidvertiser on some of his websites. He wrote that almost all contextual advertising programs are excellent for specific niches and although it might not be easy to find the right niche for each program, with some research we can find them. Forums and blogs are excellent ways of digging this kind of information as most webmasters like to brag themselves about their achievements.
I found niches where I doing very good with bidvertiser and I wouldn’t change for any other contextual advertising tested so far.
