Promoting a website can be easy if you use most effective advertising methods. The problem is that most newbies focus their their websites advertising on link exchanges and end up quitting because that doesn’t bring them the amount of traffic that they were expecting.

10. Social Bookmarking/networking sites, such as StumbleUpon, Digg, etc
Always keep in mind that any of this methods can work better or worse depending of your website content. Its much easier to advertise a website with rich content than one without a clear structure where the visitors have a hard time finding the “message” you want to transmit.
